THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR DOG SAFETY™

The International Association for Dog Safety™ is an organization of dog trainers, dog lovers, and advocates of dog safety with a vision to create a safer world for dog and mankind. This is by establishing the most effective training avenue for existing and potential dog owners led by Jay Lowe and Dalle Allen, The Knight of Dog Safety and The First Knight of Safety, who are also the co-founders of The IADS™.

Vision

Together, we aspire for a world that fosters better understanding between dogs and humans; a world where dog-related incidents are minimised, and dogs are trained and disciplined the correct way to ensure everyone’s safety.

Mission

The IADS™ is committed to fostering dog safety and encouraging dog owners to adhere to helpful guidelines across the globe.

  • As The Knight of Dog Safety, Jay aims to spread the message that within the dog world, there are too many near misses, actual bites, and preventable accidents because people are misinformed about dog safety.
  • As a Knight, his aim for the organization is to raise awareness of what dogs can do if people spend quality time with them, and what dogs can become if they don’t have the necessary love, care, attention, and understanding. People need to understand that there are different training methods and various ways to approach each breed.

If you need help from a professional trainer in training your dogs, the International Association for Dog Safety is here to help. You can approach Jay, an accredited National Association of Security Dog Users (NASDU) Level 2 instructor who has spent over nine years learning how to train and handle dogs.

JAY LOWE,
THE KNIGHT OF DOG SAFETY™

PROFESSIONAL DOG TRAINER WITH YEARS
OF EXPERIENCE AND PROVEN EXPERTISE

I’m the Knight of Dog Safety and Security who have spent over 9 years of learning how to train and handle dogs through first-hand experience. In fact, in some cases, certain dogs may not even be fit to be trained for a specific purpose. Besides knowing how to handle the different kinds of dogs, I also found that understanding their personalities, natural behaviours, and even their genetics is necessary to dog training. Therefore, people should be taught how to interact with them the right way because dog safety is not about training all the dogs; it is teaching people how to interact with them.

As a Knight of Dog Safety, my mission is to help human and dog kind. I want everyone to know that within the dog world, there are far too many near misses, actual bites, and preventable accidents simply because people are misinformed about dog safety. Hence, my primary area of focus is dog security, mainly handling dogs and personal protection dogs. I seek to improve dog safety in all fields by educating people and informing them that training dogs is easy and that teaching people is the real challenge.

With all of these in mind, I plan to raise awareness of what dogs can do if we all spend quality time with them, and what they can become if they don’t have the necessary love, care, attention, and, most of all, understanding. People need to understand that there are different training methods, and different ways to approach each breed.

If you are also a dog lover like me and want to know more about Dog Safety, don’t hesitate to reach me out! Let’s stay connected.
